What is Microblading?
Microblading is a semi-permanent procedure for eyebrows that is similar to tattooing. It uses a specialized, handheld tool to create the appearance of hair strokes on the brow line. These will look like real eyebrow hairs, making it look like you have thicker, fuller and better shaped brows.
How does it work?
Microblading is very similar to tattooing (except less permanent). A special tool that allows you to mimic hair-thin cuts creates the look of a more refined brow. The results are nearly indistinguishable from real eyebrows. The special tool is dipped in an ink to suit your hair colour and that is then used to create the hair-like effect on your eyebrow line. if you would like to read more information on Microblading Eyebrows please visit our main Microblading page.
Does it hurt?
It can however, most microblading treatments are treated with a numbing agent beforehand. The level of pain has been similarly described to having your eyebrows threaded.
How long does it take?
Microblading can take up to 3 hours dependent on the client. The desired shape, arch and thickness of brows has to be outlined and drawn beforehand. It’s a very precise process that requires a lot of attention to detail. If you would like a consultation, please contact So Perfect Skin & Microblading today.
